We look forward to kicking off the day with our keynote speaker Roma McCaig from Campbell Soup Company. Campbell represents the gold standard in corporate social responsibility and sustainability. They have set the bar for the industry, well beyond New Jersey.

Roma McCaig, Vice President – Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability

Roma McCaig leads Campbell’s corporate responsibility and environmental sustainability strategies and programs. Campbell has received national and global recognition for its Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability programs and practices, including being named to Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens list for 10 consecutive years. Since January 2017, Roma has held the positions of VP, Operations & Continuous Improvement, and most recently VP, Procurement Business Operations & Strategy. In that role, she worked closely with the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability team to develop and implement supplier-related corporate responsibility and risk management strategies, including responsible sourcing. She brings a unique blend of experience, all centered on driving transformation strategies and large change initiatives in big industries like consumer products, healthcare, and technology.

Ray Rastelli, Jr, President - Rastelli Foods Group



Rastelli Foods Group is the 2020 recipient of the NJFPA Stewardship Award, presented by Mazars USA. After accepting the award, Ray will share his insights on corporate social responsibility, as it relates to sustainability and supply chain.

As a community of food and beverage companies, suppliers and service organizations, we need to Catch the Wave of change to ensure that we keep our competitive advantage and continue to drive the industry forward. That is why, this year’s NJFPA Annual Conference is focusing on industry trends in Sustainability, Supply Chain and Corporate Social Responsibility. Throughout the day, you will hear from your peers – the best in our industry and thought leaders in our community. They will share their journeys, from launching a CSR program to building sustainability initiatives throughout all aspects of their businesses.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Food processors aren’t just buildings and fixed assets; they are made up of people and are a part of their communities. There are inherent connections, whether socially within the community, economically through workforce development, or as thought leaders. It’s important for us to participate in and promote effective Corporate Social Responsibility with our neighbors.


Food processors must consistently predict and adjust with an industry, a consumer, and a changing environment. Consumers want more transparency with how their food is made, where it’s coming from, and the specific ingredients required to produce it. Economic and environmental factors require us to focus on reducing waste, minimizing our carbon footprint and conserving water.

Supply Chain

As food processors, we are continually tasked with being more lean, more efficient, and cutting costs to meet the bottom line. A better understanding of what technologies exist, what innovations are on the horizon and how we as food processors can take advantage, will be the key to our future success.
