Design for America (DFA) is a nationally recognized organization that fosters student creativity and design thinking skills to address complex problems in local communities.

DFA’s Rutgers chapter invites NJFPA members to collaborate with students in addressing the question, "How can we sustainably equip communities to address the obstacles involved with food insecurity?".

Students will work in teams to design solutions to food insecurity with empathy and creativity. Organizations can gain insights and strategies surrounding unmet needs, and students can develop an affinity for community engagement.
